This mess was the result of a car catching fire today, blamed on an oil leak. Thankfully, no one was injured. It makes for a rather grotesque picture…similar to a crazy sort of gargoyle that fell to earth outside the cathedral. Pope Benedict is scheduled at St Patrick’s on Friday.
