I just went with a pal to the 125th anniversary of the Brooklyn Bridge. How cool is that? Can you believe, 125 years? – no kidding!

We hung out during the day and then stayed all the way through to the night light show. It was an absolutely beautiful sight

If you’d like a little Brooklyn Bridge history, New York City Roads has a great page.

Just thought I’d include this as a follow-up to my earlier post concerning the Brooklyn Bridge, Where’s That Confounded Bridge?
electriceggcream.com/2008/05/22/.. It’s good to know that some, from ALL walks of life, are able to find the footpath to the
bridge without any trouble.

Funny, I always waddle when I walk, yet for the longest time I couldn’t find the footpath to our famous and beloved bridge. (I’m sure that Hart Crane had an easier time at it.)
Thanks to you too, Penguin. Great Shots!!!

Thanks for your feedback, nebras. Our “feathery friend” adds his own unique blend of color to the steel-and-glass backdrop.
