This neon denizen of the night was exceptionally and brilliantly charged at this year’s Greenwich Village Parade. Within the afterglow of an equally dazzling geisha girl (or babe), he symbolizes the electrifying pulse of this city in his own peculiar way; the touching pathos of romance forever walking along the outer limits of bathos and related hilarity.
